Helical Gears: Helical gears makes an angle to the axis of rotation and the teeth are shaped to create a thrust load. It works divergent to the spur gears. Helical gears are used in a number of industries like steel, rubber, packaging, medical, etc.

Spur Gears : Spur gears are shaped like a cylinder and it is united parallel to the axis of the rotation. It is most popular among the other gears as gears are set parallel to the axis. It is used in low speed applications.

Bevel Gears: Bevel gears are placed in the right angle of other angle to the axis of the rotation. They are used for the shafts from main shaft to the back shaft. It is used in hand drills, printing, cooling towers, etc.

Worm Gears: Worm gears are used in the industries like textile, steel, sugar, paper, etc and in motor industry. It is mainly of two types: multi-start threaded or either single. They are worked by driving two shafts together and also referred to as wheel gears.
